TERMAN TAO

The TERMAN TAO is a "new generation" heavy duty long range manipulator. First unit was delivered in 2016 and is now commissioned.

The latest, fully robotized version of LaCalhene's range of master/slave manipulators, the TERMAN TAO manipulator provides the operator with a permanent ideal working position and vibration filtering, thereby reducing effort and fatigue, resulting in improved accuracy and efficiency.

Its new patented design, derived from the MT200 TAO with a brand new slave arm, couples high responsiveness with fully mechanical transmission, rigidity and strength.

The main innovation of this system : the slave movements are operated through a set of electrical motors, while the orders are given by the operator through the use of an electrical master arm. There is no mechanical link between master arm and slave arm.

The system provides full range high performance force feedback to the operator.
