GETINGE AB, a Swedish company of 7000 employees, has finalized on June the 9th the acquisition of 100% of the shares of La Calhène.
GETINGE (www.getinge.com) is a leading global provider of equipment and systems to customers within health care, extended care and pharmaceutical industries/laboratories.
Equipment, services and technologies for infection control, operating theatres, patient hygiene, patient handling and wound care are supplied to customers throughout the world.
La Calhène will be integrated with GETINGE’s Life Science organization within the Infection Control business area and will gain access to GETINGE Infection Control’s global marketing organization.
The synergistic effect of this alliance will widen the many applications of the two companies to give a better service to the pharmaceutical and hospital markets.
